Who we are

Visions by JW is the photography studio of Javel, based in South Florida and available for travel. This website, its client galleries, print store, and booking system are operated with our technology partner Actif. Questions about anything on this page can go to hello@jhwvisions.com and will reach the right person.

Sessions and bookings

Sessions booked through this site are reserved on payment. Portrait and professional sessions reserve your date with a deposit, and the remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot. Mini sessions are paid in full when you book. Consultations are free.

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to move your session, contact us at least 48 hours before your start time and we will transfer your deposit to a new date once at no charge. Missed sessions without notice forfeit the deposit.

When you book with a deposit, your card is kept securely on file with our payment processor and the remaining balance is charged to it automatically after your session. Prefer to settle sooner? Your confirmation email includes a payment link you can use any time before then.

If we need to cancel or move a session for weather, illness, or circumstances on our side, you choose between a full refund of everything paid or priority rebooking.

Print orders

Every print, frame, album, and keepsake in the print shop is custom-produced for your order by a professional photographic lab, so orders cannot be cancelled or returned once they enter production.

If an order arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging and we will reprint and reship it at no charge. Reprints are our remedy for damaged or defective orders; we do not offer refunds on print orders.

The price you see at checkout, plus the shipping shown, is the full amount charged. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the carrier once an order ships.

Galleries and image rights

Client galleries are private and protected by an access code. Please do not share your code beyond the people your session was for.

All photographs remain the copyright of Visions by JW. Purchased prints and delivered images come with a personal use license: print them, share them, and post them as you like for personal purposes. Commercial use of any image requires a written agreement with us.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Charges appear on your statement as JHWVISIONS.COM.

Gift prints

From time to time a gallery may include a complimentary gift print on us. Gifts are limited to one per gallery, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged.

The fine print

Our liability for any claim connected to a session or order is limited to the amount you paid for that session or order. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

We may update these terms as the studio grows; the version on this page is the one in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
